Is your body getting enough protein?

In today’s fast paced world we are trying to squeeze our, family life, workouts and food into our schedule and you know as well as I do how often we catch ourselves trying to shovel in food in a rush trying to meet our needs for health and development, how many times have you skipped a meal. The problem with this is you risk not meeting your protein requirements for your ordinary day and more so for your workouts.
The normal person needs 0.75 g per kg and a person that exercises needs more, around 1.5g per kg. This is due to the demands on the body being increased as we need protein to recover and grow, for your immune system, hair, skin, nails to recover from injury and to improve on your workouts so this is where a protein supplement fits in with the added benefit of not filling yourself with fat developing and workout spoiling processed sugar as it in a basic way will make you store body fat.
All the above list of what protein does in the body will not be at optimum levels if you have an inadequate supply in quality or quantity. So for a 80kg person that runs and lifts weights that's around 120g so ask yourself would you get 4 reasonable portions of protein a day if divided into 30 g amounts?
Most of you will answer no and to honest if I rely on food totally I too would fall short as like most of you I work 10-12 hour days so even though I get most of what I need from food I need the extra bit and that's going to get me to achieve my goals.
